9月24日讯据“青岛体坛那些事儿”透露，有较为可靠的消息显示，青岛海牛周六很可能继续坐镇青岛西海岸大学城体育场，对阵上海申花。
之所以如此，是因为海牛的常规主场青岛青春足球场仍在进行草坪优化和维护工作，以保障中国男足10月15日在这里更好地迎战印度尼西亚队。
如果不能借助主场之利战胜被誉为“荷兰三队”的印度尼西亚队，国足大概率将在2026年美加墨世界杯预选赛亚洲区18强赛C组中排名垫底。
9月15日，海牛就曾把主场设在青岛西海岸大学城体育场，结果在两中门框的情况下与赛前比自己多1分的保级对手武汉三镇1-1握手言和。
